A few words about this tour
The tour starts with the meeting point with our guide. We start our route driving towards the Peloponnese. Our first stop, after approximately one hour, will be the Corinth Canal. The impressive Canal joins the Aegean and the Ionian Sea. At this point we will stop for a while to admire the sight and take some photos if we wish.
After a twenty-minute drive from the Corinth Canal we will find ourselves in the ancient city of Corinth. Ancient Corinth is located in the same location as the archeological site of the same name and is a direct residential continuation of the ancient, medieval and Ottoman city of Corinth. it was the capital of the Ottoman administration in Corinth and the first capital of the prefecture until 1859.
After our visit to Ancient Corinth we will be driven to the "golden" city of Mycenae and the Ancient Theater of Epidaurus which is one of the most important ancient archaeological sites.
Our final stop will be the beautiful and picturesque city of Nafplio. Here there will be free time to walk the cobbled streets and stop for food and coffee if we wish. We can admire the medieval castles and the Venetian style houses built in the old town.
Finally, we will then take the road back to our meeting point in Athens.
